2025 Mercedes G63 OEM Headrest Monitor Installation in Dubai

This stunning 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 came to us with one specific request: rear-seat entertainment, but done properly. The owner didn’t want a universal headrest monitor clamped onto the seat post — they wanted the genuine Mercedes OEM look, fully integrated, as if it came from the factory. At Weiss Auto Concept, that’s exactly the kind of challenge we love. Here’s how we did it.

The Vehicle: 2025 Mercedes-Benz G63 (W464)

This G63 arrived finished in a breathtaking white leather interior with a starlight headliner — already one of the most luxurious cabins on the road. It was a base-spec model, however, so it came without certain features like smart entry and the electric side steps. The owner wanted to complete the experience: add those missing options, and most importantly, install rear headrest monitors with a true factory finish.

The Challenge

Most headrest monitors on the market are universal units that clamp onto the metal posts behind the seat. They work — but they never look factory. Our client wanted none of that. The goal was a genuine Mercedes-design headrest monitor, fitted so cleanly it would look exactly as if Mercedes installed it on the production line. That meant going far beyond a simple clamp-on job — it required opening up the seats themselves.

The Solution: Genuine OEM-Design Headrest Monitors

We installed genuine Mercedes-design headrest monitors built specifically for this model. What makes the difference is the mounting: the G-Class seats already have factory-prepared brackets and screw points hidden inside, exactly where Mercedes intended these monitors to go. To reach them, the seats had to be fully disassembled.

We removed and opened the leather seat covers, fitted the monitor bracket into the factory mounting point, and secured it with the original screw pattern — exactly as the production line would. Wiring was connected using the correct plug-and-play connectors made for this Mercedes model. Then the seat covers were carefully refitted to their original factory condition.

Precision Upholstery by Our Interior Team

Opening and refitting the seat leather of a brand-new G63 is delicate work — one wrong move leaves a permanent mark. For this, we brought in our specialist upholstery team, led by Zainab. They removed and reinstalled the seat covers flawlessly, returning them to exact factory condition with no trace of the work. The same team also crafted the stunning starlight headliner you see in this build, adding a true bespoke touch to the cabin.

What the Monitor Offers

Beyond its factory looks, the monitor brings serious functionality to the rear cabin:

  • 11.6″ display that rotates and adjusts between landscape and portrait
  • Full Android system — download and run any app you like
  • USB input for media playback
  • Audio through the car’s original speakers via Bluetooth or FM
  • Built-in speakers on the monitor itself
  • Headphone support for private listening

Completing the Build: Added Factory Options

While the headrest monitors were the heart of this project, we also completed the car’s missing factory features. Since this was a base-spec G63, we added smart keyless entry and electric side steps — both integrated to function exactly like genuine factory options. The result is a fully-equipped G63 that finally matches its flagship looks.

Inside the Process

This was a meticulous, multi-stage installation carried out in our Dubai workshop. The seats were carefully disassembled, the OEM headrest monitor brackets were mounted into the factory points, the model-specific wiring was routed, and the leather was refitted to original condition. Every step was checked to ensure the finished result looked and functioned exactly like a factory installation.

Before & After

The difference is striking — yet completely factory. Before, the rear seats had plain headrests. After, they feature fully integrated OEM-design monitors that look like they were always part of the car.

Why OEM-Level Matters

Anyone can clamp a screen onto a headrest post. But making it look like it came from the factory — mounted in the right place, wired correctly, with the leather refitted perfectly — takes real skill. At Weiss Auto Concept, we don’t take shortcuts. If it doesn’t look OEM, we don’t install it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these universal headrest monitors?

No. These are OEM-design monitors mounted into the factory bracket points inside the seat — not universal clamp-on units. The result looks exactly like a genuine factory option.

Do you have to open the seats to install them?

Yes. The seat covers are carefully removed so the monitor bracket can be fitted into the factory mounting point, then refitted to original condition by our upholstery team.

What can the headrest monitor do?

It’s an 11.6″ rotating Android display. You can download any app, play media via USB, and listen through the car speakers, the monitor’s built-in speakers, or headphones.

Will it look factory-installed?

Yes. Because it mounts where Mercedes intended and uses model-specific wiring, it looks and functions exactly like a genuine factory option — including the Mercedes-Benz logo on startup.

Which cars can you install these in?

These OEM-design headrest monitors can be installed in almost all modern Mercedes-Benz models, including the G-Class, plus other luxury vehicles. Contact us with your model and year to confirm.
