What is the difference between CCC, CIC, NBT, and EVO systems?
These are the four generations of BMW’s iDrive system. CCC is the earliest (round rotary controller), CIC is the mid-generation, NBT is newer with a flatter menu, and NBT EVO is the latest touchscreen-capable version. Our interface auto-detects and supports all four.
Will my original iDrive screen and menus still work?
Yes. Your factory screen, iDrive controller, and all original menus stay fully functional. You switch between the factory system and CarPlay with a single button — nothing is replaced.
